Fretwork, VJ boards, balustrades, stumps and lattice. These homes take longer to do well, and we would rather work around the detail than paint straight over it.

Lead paint removal
Paint on homes built before the 1970s is often lead-based. We can test for it, contain the area, and remove and dispose of it to the required standard before any repainting starts.

Garages, sheds, workshops and patios. Ground back, primed, finished in flake or solid colour, then a clear top coat that is easy to hose out.

Older timber homes each come with their own quirks: movement in the boards, layers of old paint, and fretwork a roller will never reach. They tend to take longer than a modern build, and it is usually worth the extra time.
